Needle felting is a technique whereby unspun wool is formed into shape by pushing a sharp barbed needle in to it. The tiny barbs catch the tiny fibers and mesh them together.

Each one of a kind Bear or Animal can take anything from 8 to 35 hours to finish depending on the size and complexity.

I use the finest wools and silks and pride myself on attention to detail and quality finish.

 

The Wools I use are from a professional and very passionate hand spinner, freestyle hand dyer and fiber artist. She works mainly with natural pure animal, silk and vegetable fibers, and uses non toxic dyes and mordants for her designs to protect our environment. I have always been artistic and have made and sold many different forms of art from Pencil portraits to murals over the years about 5 years ago I discovered needle felting and found it a wonderful craft, I was hooked :-)
